If you have an e-mail plan with us you can add your mailbox to a mail-client like Outlook. To set up a PCextreme e-mail account using Outlook 2016 for Mac you can use this step-by-step guide.

Introduction

Outlook 2016 is not the latest version. We recommend you update to the latest build of Outlook. If you still want to use the 2016 version be aware that application might not work optimally. 


Requirements

  • A PCextreme e-mail account
  • An Apple Mac Macbook
  • Office 2016 for Mac


Add the account

  1. Open Outlook 2016 for Mac an select Accounts in the Tools menu;
  2. Press the + icon in the next screen;
  3. Fill in your PCextreme mail address details;
  4. Enter the following details in the required fields:


  • User name: your@email.nl 
  • Password: Yourpassword 
  • Incoming mail server: mail.pcextreme.nl 
  • Use SSL to connect Check! 
  • Outgoing mail server: smtp.mail.pcextreme.nl 
  • Use SSL to connect Check!


Click Add account and you’re done.
