Use this step-by-step guide to add a PCextreme e-mail address to Mac Mail.

Adding an Account
Let’s start by adding an e-mail account. Open your Mac Mail application and select “Preferences” in the Mail menu (next to the icon). Make sure to select “Accounts” and then add a new account by pressing the “+” icon in the bottom-left corner. (If you have no other mail accounts set up, this process should work automatically)
Select “Other mail account” as shown in the image below.
Then, add your e-mail address details like in the screenshot below:
Another screen will pop up. Fill in your details as shown below, and press “Log In”:
Server settings
Mac mail should set up your server details correctly. If an error occurs, you might need to adjust the server ports.
You can do this by selecting “Preferences” in the Mail menu (next to the icon). Make sure to select “Accounts” in the subsequent screen. Select “Server Settings” in the right side menu, and fill in the details as shown below:
We advise you to uncheck the “Automatically manage connection settings” -box so you can manually enter the port numbers (preferably as shown in bold font). Make sure to tick the “Use TLS/SSL” -box for an encrypted connection.

Outgoing mail server: smtp.mail.pcextreme.nl Outgoing mail port: 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL) or 25 (TLS) Encryption: On Authentication: Using e-mail address and password
Make sure to click the “Save” button in the bottom-right of your screen, and your mail account should be ready to go!
